Records Management Journal

The Records Management Journal is an English-language journal in the field of records management (or English. Records management ).

It is published by the British Emerald Group Publishing Limited in conjunction with the organization Aslib (Association for Information Management), an association of public and private institutions in the field of information management .

The main focus of the Records Management Journal is v. a. in the management of modern and digital documents as well as in technical innovations in this area. The contributions are highly practical; it is often about the implementation of research results and new processes in practice. Occasionally, the topic of archives and libraries as well as questions of the archival evaluation and acceptance of written material are taken up. Historiographical contributions, as is customary in some archive journals, do not exist in the Records Management Journal.

The magazine appears z. Zt. (2006) three times a year; the pages are counted consistently within a year through the three issues (summarized as a "volume"). The magazine first appeared in 1989.
