Redie

As Redie is a stage in the generation of some parasitic flukes (Trematoda) from the tribe of flatworms (Platyhelminthes), such as the small and large liver fluke ( Dicrocoelium dendriticum and Fasciola hepatica ) refers. In the alternation of generations of the liver fluke , the intermediate host infected by the Miracidium develops into a sporocyst . In the sporocyst, in turn, the redie ripens, which, in contrast to the sporocyst, has a pharynx , a blindly ending intestine, a nervous system and a birth opening. In the Redie the developing cercariae which leave the intermediate host of the "birth".
