Redout
As Redout or Blickröte a restriction of vision is referred to, which upon application of negative g ; forces on the body occurs (for example when flying an outer loops ). It manifests itself in a red coloration of the field of vision and is caused by blood that is pressed into the head by the acceleration forces and thus into the retina and blood vessels of the eye.
The Redout is similar to the case of a positive g occurring -load greyout .
