Reflex time

The reflex time is in the preparation of an electromyogram (EMG) the time between the given stimulus and the appearance of the reflex . It is influenced by the conduction speed of the afferent and efferent nerve fibers and the duration of the chemical signal transmission to synapses and motor end plates .
