Ballymena government bunker

The government bunker Ballymena is a fallout shelter at the industrial park Woodside Industrial Estate in Ballymena in County Antrim , Northern Ireland . He should take on the regional government in the event of a nuclear war. Half of it is buried in the ground and has two floors. It was built from 1987 and was fully functional in 1989. The cost is estimated between £ 300 million and £ 400 million . The BBC revealed the existence of the bunker in 2007. It has been on sale since 2016 for a price of £ 575,000 (€ 642,000).
