Regional governance

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Regional governance describes a management approach for complex, self-organizing networks under political leadership. At its core, this approach is based on the interest-driven cooperation of individual actors.

As a rule, regional governance can be found in the area of economic development or municipal tasks such as local public transport, waste disposal or tourism marketing. A new branch of regional governance is rural development and cultural management.
