Regional Ecumenical Organization

Regional Ecumenical Organizations (Engl. Regional Ecumenical Organizations or REOs ) are ecumenical groupings of churches which cover a continent or a world region.

These associations are independent organizations, but work together with the World Council of Churches .

There are seven such organizations worldwide, covering all continents with the exception of North America (in North America, the two National Councils of Churches of Canada and the USA act as regional ecumenical organizations):
