The Rehoboth Museum is a regional museum in Rehoboth in Namibia . It is run by a council of museums appointed by the city administration.
history
In 1984, the autonomous government of the decided Rehoboth area a regional museum set up and chose as the site the old, in 1903 by the German colonial force built Postmaster House ( English Old Post Master Building ) in the center of Rehoboth, near the historic post office . After some renovations and extensions, the Rehoboth Museum was opened in 1986.

The museum shows the life and history of the region around Rehoboth and the Rehoboth Baster since 1870 in ten different, thematically sorted exhibitions . a. also traditional construction techniques, the history of the city, geology, the environment and nature, anthropology, archeology, the government of the Rehoboth area, and art.
