Reich Fire Brigade Act
The Reich Fire Brigade Act (actually law on fire extinguishing ) of November 23, 1938 regulated the integration of the fire brigades into the fire police . It regulated the organization of fire brigades in the German Reich (especially from the point of view of air protection - similar to today's civil defense ). Based on this, the vehicles were painted green and equipped with blue lights. The uniform Storz couplings and the central alarm via sirens can be attributed to this law.
On the basis of this law, all clubs and associations formed by volunteer fire brigades were dissolved.
