Reichskanzler is an old German variety of potato . It was bred in 1885 by Wilhelm Richter from Zwickau .

The tuber is oval in shape, the skin is reticulated with a slightly rosy shimmer, the eyes are flat. It is a floury variety with white to slightly yellowish flesh.
