Reinhard Wilken

Reinhard Wilken (born February 8, 1935 in Leer - Loga ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Wilken first attended elementary school and then grammar school in Leer. This was followed by an apprenticeship and in 1957 the master's examination in painting and varnishing. Then he was the owner of a painting company. In 1975 he joined the CDU and was chairman of the Ostfriesland district association.

Wilken was chairman of the supervisory board of Volksbank Leer and a member of the supervisory board of Bauverein Leer eG. From 1968 to 1981 he was a member of the local council of Loga. From 1973 to 1991 he was a member of the city council of Leer, where he was CDU parliamentary group leader from 1981 to 1991. In the tenth electoral term he entered the Lower Saxony state parliament in 1982, but was not re-elected in the 1986 state election. A year later he nevertheless moved up via the state list and was a member of the state parliament until the end of the 13th electoral period in 1998.
