Reinhold Otto (politician)

Reinhold Otto (born March 8, 1932 in Trier ) is a German politician (SPD). From 1963 to 1967 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

After attending primary and secondary school, Otto found a social profession through youth work. He participated in youth community services and received training at the seminar for social professions in Mannheim. In 1957 he passed the state examination and a year later he received state recognition as a welfare worker. From 1958 to 1959 Otto worked as a youth welfare worker in the Sandbostel youth emergency center. After that he was again a district youth worker in Wolfenbüttel. In the fifth electoral term he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from 1963 to 1967. There he was from 1965 to 1967 chairman of the committee for youth and sport.
