Irritant gas system

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Irritant gas systems are used as an extension of an existing alarm system for a break -in or room protection system. The aim is to directly ward off the intruder and to bridge the time between the alarm being triggered and the arrival of the police . The burglar is warned acoustically and asked to leave the secured area. If the request is ignored, the system releases the tear gas . The emitted gas concentration is not harmful to health, but considerably limits the burglar's ability to act and forces him to flee.

The development of irritant gas systems began in Berlin in the late 1990s . Berlin retailers have installed these systems in some of their local branches . The systems are continuously developed. The alarm system is used in business, industrial, storage and living spaces.

Irritation gas systems may only be used in closed rooms and must be permanently installed. Furthermore, the upstream electronic alarm system must have a suitable remote alarm system.
