Religia.tv was a Christian TV station of the Polish ITI group .
Religia.tv first went on air on October 15, 2007. The director of the station was Father Kazimierz Sowa.
Religia.tv was positioned as a liberal Christian broadcaster, in stark contrast to the national conservative broadcaster TV Trwam . The station showed interactive discussion programs, current affairs programs, religious themed series, many documentaries and a range of films on religious, ethical, cultural and social issues, as well as mass broadcasts and devotions.
As part of the ITI Group's cost-cutting policy, it was announced in December 2014 that it wanted to get rid of channels that were no longer profitable and that Religia.tv would close on January 31, 2015.
