chapel

The chapel was built between 1749 and 1750 for the alpine residents of the Rellstal and the first mass was held there in 1750. The basic patronage is Mariahilf and was later around St. Martin and in 1949 around St. Hubertus expanded. The chapel was renovated in 1880 and 1934. The goods route leading past the chapel was increasingly filled and expanded by its operator, Vorarlberger Illwerke . That's why the chapel was last low compared to the height of the path. It was then moved a length to the southeast in 1979 and rebuilt on a new foundation.

The plans and the interior design remained the same. The use of stones from the Rellstal in the masonry was new. The prayer room has a flat wooden ceiling and the choir is covered with a gable roof, on which a roof turret with a bell that can be rung with a rope is placed in the choir area. The baroque altar shows the painting Mariahilf with St. Augustine and Francis from the 18th century. To the left and right of the two-pillar high altar are statues of Saints Antonius (Abbas) and Wendelin . The stained glass show St. Wendelin, Josef, Albert and Hubertus.
