Remuda

In American agriculture, a remuda is a reserve and replacement stock of riding and work horses. When driving cattle in the USA along herd paths, so-called trails , a small herd of such additional horses was and is carried along.

A cowboy called a Wrangler is responsible for supervising the Remuda .
