John Ramsay McCulloch (also M'Culloch , Mac Culloch , MacCulloch , spr.Mäck kalloch) (born March 1, 1789 on the island of Whithorn a village of The Machars ; † November 11, 1864 in London ) was an English economist of Scottish origin.

Life

McCulloch studied in Edinburgh , became a professor at the University of London in 1828 , later entered the administration and died in London in 1864 as a controller at the Stationery Office .
