René Mägli

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

René Mägli (* 1950 ) is a Swiss manager .

Mägli is CEO of MSC Basel , the Swiss subsidiary of the MSC shipping company , the second largest freight shipping company in the world. Mägli received extensive media coverage because he (almost) only hires women; apart from him, only women are employed in the company he heads, a total of around one hundred women.

According to Mägli, "women are better suited to a service company" than men. "They bring more profit." Women would communicate better and work together better. At the same time, Mägli does not believe in a women's quota for companies.

Many of his employees work part-time and, according to Mägli, there is very little fluctuation.
