René Rebetez

René Rebetez , actually René Rebetez Cortés (* 1933 in Subachoque , Province of Cundinamarca , † December 30, 1999 in Providencia , Province of San Andrés and Providencia ) was a Colombian writer.

Rebetez was the son of a Colombian and his Swiss wife. Rebetez spent most of his school days in Bogotá . He then went to Switzerland to study sociology and economics at the University of Geneva .

After successfully completing his studies, Rebetez lived in France for some time. He later toured Cuba and lived for some time in Havana and Mexico City . He founded the science fiction magazine "Crononauta" and also managed it for some time as the chief editor in charge.
