Renate Chotjewitz Häfner sponsorship award
The Renate-Chotjewitz-Häfner-Förderpreis has been awarded since 2011 and is awarded once a year in November, the month of Renate Chotjewitz-Häfner's death , “in memory of this committed, clever, sometimes unruly artist and writer”. In her will, she made a sum of money available to support women authors from the Frankfurt area, with which this award is endowed. As part of the award ceremony, the authors hold a reading under the motto “Between the river and the skyline”.
