Renate Schwindler (born November 3, 1983 ) is a German ice stock athlete .

life and career

From their youth on, swindlers were interested in the sport of ice stock sport. She became a member of 1. FC Neunburg, in whose curling department she soon played an important role.

After playing her club in the district class and the promotion of 1. FC Neunburg to the Bavarian curling league, she was soon appointed to the German national curling team, with which she played in the final against the Italian national team on March 2, 2014 with the German team Won world championship title.

On July 19, 2015, she and her team reached 2nd place in the mixed team competition for the Bavarian Cup. In the summer of 2016, she and her team became German champions. She and 1. FC Neunburg won the title of German Champion for the second time on July 8, 2017.

On November 3, 2017, her 34th birthday, she received the silver laurel leaf from Federal Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière for her sporting successes .
