Renato Ugo

Renato Ugo (born June 18, 1938 in Palermo ) is an Italian chemist .

life and work

Ugo studied technical chemistry at the University of Milan . It graduated with honors in 1961. In 1973 he was appointed to the University of Milan, where he initially taught analytical chemistry, and from 1981 to 2010 inorganic chemistry .

His scientific focus is on organometallic chemistry , homogeneous catalysis and the molecular interpretation of heterogeneous catalytic processes.
