Technology and development

The areas with the greatest changes are the internal combustion engine, the turbocharger and the battery. The internal combustion engine has a new combustion chamber, a new concept of exhaust gas routing and variable intake funnels. The efficiency of the compressor has been increased, and the ERS can handle higher loads. In addition, the center of gravity of the engine unit has been further lowered and several systems and functions have been simplified. This should lead to an easier integration of the motor unit in the chassis.

use

Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso competed with the Energy F1 2015 in the 2015 season.
