The Renault NC 1 or NC 27 was a French light tank from the 1920s.
history
After the end of the First World War, the French army had 4,000 armored vehicles. It thus had by far the largest population in the world. Since the Renault FT was the main component, attempts were made to modernize this vehicle. One of these developments from 1927 was the Renault NC 1, which was later also referred to as the Renault NC 27. Compared to its predecessors, it received a new drive and a more powerful motor, which benefited its mobility. Although the armor was also reinforced, the combat power remained about the same.
Use in Sweden - Stridsvagn fm / 28

A Renault NC 27 was bought by Sweden in 1928 as a replacement for a previously existing Renault FT, where it was named Stridsvagn fm / 28. It was used until the end of the 1930s, in recent years unarmed as a driving school tank with Göta Livgarde. The tank has been preserved, making it the only vehicle of this series still in existence worldwide.
Use in Japan
In 1929 ten tanks were delivered to Japan . They were given the name Renault Otsu-gata Sensha ( Japanese ル ノ ー 乙型 戦 車 ) for "Renault tank model B", where "Model A" ( Kō-gata ) means the Renault FT .
