Reni Jordanova
Reni Jordanowa ( Bulgarian Рени Йорданова ; born October 25, 1953 ) is a former Bulgarian rower who won an Olympic silver medal in 1976.
The 1.68 m tall Reni Jordanowa took fifth place at the European Championships in 1973 with both the Bulgarian four-man with helmsman and eighth . At the 1975 World Championships , the four-man with helmswoman in the line-up Marijka Modewa , Reni Jordanowa, Liljana Wassewa , Ginka Gjurowa and helmsman Kapka Georgiewa won the silver medal, more than three seconds behind the boat from the GDR. In the following year, the Bulgarian four-man with the same line-up also won the silver medal at the premiere of the Olympic women's rowing in Montreal in 1976 and, as in the previous year, the four-man from the GDR was over three seconds ahead.
