The Res Publica Publishing GmbH is an owner-run, politically and economically independent publisher based in Berlin. The two monthly magazines Cicero and Monopol appear here . History of the publisher

Res Publica Verlags GmbH was founded in May 2016 in Berlin. The editors-in-chief of the magazine Cicero, Christoph Schwennicke and Alexander Marguier, took over the two magazines 'Cicero - magazine for political culture' and 'Monopol - magazine for art and life' from the Swiss Ringier publishing house as part of a management buy-out .
