Alexander Marguier

Alexander Marguier (born June 21, 1969 in Horb am Neckar ) is a German journalist , publicist and publisher .

Marguier studied economics in Freiburg im Breisgau , Saarbrücken and Bari . After graduating with a degree in economics , he volunteered at the Saarbrücker Zeitung . From 1998 he worked for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and Die Welt am Sonntag , there in the political department. In 2001 he became head of the company department of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung .

In 2010 he became deputy editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine Cicero , and since June 2016 he has been editor-in-chief and publisher of Cicero together with Christoph Schwennicke . In addition, since 2016 he has been managing partner with Christoph Schwennicke at Res Publica Verlag in Berlin , which publishes the magazines Cicero and Monopol .

Marguier is a member of the Berlin Press Club .
