The publicist is an author , journalist , writer or scientist who participates in the formation of public opinion on current topics with his own contributions ( publications ) - for example analyzes, essays, books, interviews, columns , comments, speeches, reviews or appeals . The publicist can also compile contributions from other authors on a specific topic (or project) and publish this collection under one title. A employed journalist is considered a publicist if his theses , views or demands appear prominently not only for the medium or the media of his employer, but also in other media .
