Jabar Sharza (born April 6, 1994 in Kabul ) is a Danish - Afghan football player who has been under contract with the Finnish first division club Helsingfors IFK since 2019 .

Career

Sharza was born in Kabul, but fled to Denmark in 1999 and grew up there. He began his career in the youth of Brønshøj BK and Lyngby BK . After a stint at Genlofte VI , the striker returned to Brønshøj in late February 2015 and played twice in the league. After relegation to the 2nd division , Sharza prevailed as a regular player. He came to 29 missions and 19 goals. After the missed promotion, he moved to Akademisk BK in the second division for the 2016/17 season , where he also became a regular. He only played Dot for a year and then moved on to Fremad Amager . He has been playing for the Finnish first division team Helsingfors IFK since 2019 .

In February 2018 he was nominated for the first time for the Afghan national team by Otto Pfister . On March 27, he finally made his debut in the Asian Cup qualification against Cambodia and scored both goals in the 2-1 away win.
