Resa Amrollahi ( listen ? / I ; PersianAudio file / audio sample رضا امراللهی) (born 1946/47 in Yazd ) is an Iranian physicist and politician.

He studied at the University of Texas and was President of the Iranian Atomic Energy Agency (AEOI) from 1979 to 1997 . From 1989 to 1997 he was also Vice-President in the first and second cabinet of Hashemi Rafsanjani .

Amrollahi was a professor at Yazd University and was on the board of governors of the university.

He is a professor in the Department of Energy Engineering and Physics at Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran and the author of over 100 scientific articles.
