Respublika (party)

Respublika ( Kyrgyz / Russian Республика , German republic ) is a Kyrgyz political party .

The Respublika party was founded in 2007. It is run by the oil entrepreneur and oligarch Omurbek Babanow (2010) and stands for a business-friendly course.

After counting 84 percent of the votes, Respublika achieved fourth place in the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan in 2010 with 6.8 percent of the votes, making it one of the five parties represented in parliament.
