The Retail Operating Company Deutschland GmbH (ROC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Echo Tankstellen GmbH and was founded in 2005 by Esso Deutschland GmbH. As part of the sale of Esso Deutschland GmbH to the EG Group in 2018, this subsidiary was also taken over. The company operates around 200 Esso petrol stations with its own petrol station shops in Germany , which are run by employed station managers. It is represented in the south and west of Germany in the federal states of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
