Retro version

Retroversion ( Latin retro 'back' and vertere 'turn' ) denotes in medicine :

  • the movement of a limb according to dorsal (z. B. arm at the shoulder joint)
  • the position of a section of bone to the dorsal side (e.g. the shoulder socket in the shoulder joint )
  • Backward inclination of the extended uterus

The opposite is anteversion .
