Some dormice are killed and eaten by Asmodeus. Matthias leaves Redwall trying to find Martin's sword. War Feather tells him about Cluny's new plan of attack, so that Matthias rushes back to the abbey. War Feather and another sparrow fly over Cluny's camp to count the rats, with War Feather injured and captured. The rats lay them on a path from Asmodeus. | ||||||

Matthias finally manages to find the Asmodeus cave. With the help of the shrew Guosim, he finds the sleeping Asmodeus and arrives at the sword that is stuck in the rock behind him. Cluny creates an army by forcing every forest dweller to fight for him. Asmodeus is beheaded by Matthias at the end, but he and the field mice are stuck underground. | ||||||

Matthias and the shrews are looking for a way out of the cave. Meanwhile, Cluny is planning his attack. He learns that Matthias went to Asmodeus to get the sword back and therefore immediately blows the storm on Redwall. Cornflower finds Martin the warrior's armor in the abbey attic. | ||||||

Cluny forces the shrew Plumpin to infiltrate Redwall and open to him from the inside. Matthias and the shrews hurry from Mossflower to the abbey. When Matthias reaches Redwall, the final fight begins. Cluny, like all of his followers, is eventually killed. |

The newch Skörl Schleimschwanz cheats the slaves out of everything they still have. Matthias, Jess and Basilius meet Jabes Strunk and Orlando, whereupon they join them. The residents of Redwall receive initial information from Martin the Warrior. | ||||||

Slagar brings the slaves to a plateau where the rat Stonefleck is waiting for them. This leads them through a forest with dangerous creatures and over a river, where a gigantic horde of rats is already waiting for them. With the help of the owl, Sir Harry, Matthias and the others reach the plateau. You go through the forest and cross the river. The rats try to stop them. | ||||||

Iron Beak and his army take parts of Redwall. The sparrows discover Matthias, who is fighting the rats on a plateau. Matthias wins me the help of the sparrows, but the war feather is killed in the fight. | ||||||

Mattimeo and the others are shown the underground realm of Malkariss. Matthias and his people find hereus that the empire was once a monastery. The fight against the rats in black robes begins. An injured red kite appears in Redwall and is fed by Konstanze. General Einsenschnabel now controls almost the entire abbey. | ||||||
