Aloe andringitrensis is a species of the genus Aloes in the subfamily of the Affodilla plants (Asphodeloideae). The specific epithet andringitrensis refers to the occurrence of the species in the Andringitra Mountains .

Vegetative characteristics

Aloe andringitrensis grows solitary and without trunk. The roots are spindle-shaped. Its 15 to 20 triangular leaves form a rosette . The gray-green leaf blade is 50 centimeters long and 7 centimeters wide. The leaf surface is very slightly roughened. The pinkish red teeth on the leaf margin are 1 millimeter long and 5 to 10 millimeters apart.

Inflorescences and flowers

The inflorescence consists of six to eight branches and reaches a height of 80 to 90 centimeters. The dense, almost capped grapes are 6 to 10 centimeters long. The ovoid-pointed bracts have a length of 8 millimeters and are 3 millimeters wide. The cloudy orange to yellowish flowers are on 25 millimeter long peduncles . The flowers are 22 millimeters long and rounded at their base. At the level of the ovary they have a diameter of 4 millimeters and are enlarged to 9 millimeters towards the mouth. Your outer tepals are not fused together over a length of 17 millimeters. The stamens do not protrude, and the stylus out hard from the flower.
