Revolutionary Organization of Labor

The Revolutionary Organization of Labor (ROL, German: Revolutionäre Organization der Arbeit ), known until January 2008 under the name Ray O. Light or Ray O. Light Group , is an American communist organization. She cites the positions of Stalin and - with critical reservations - Mao Zedong .

According to the ROL, the predominantly poor African American population of the Black Belt has a special responsibility in preparing and carrying out the proletarian revolution in the heart of the imperialist class enemy . In this context, the Afro-American population is also granted the right to national self-determination . The organization relies on Stalin and the Afro-American communist Harry Haywood . The ROL regards the Mexican population in the Southwest as a national minority , and it is also the only Marxist organization in the USA to speak of an oppressed Appalachian nation.

When Khrushchev's secret speech at the XX. CPSU party congress from the Communist Party of the USA . After various renaming (“Youth for Stalin” 1968 and “Stalinist Workers Group for African-American Liberation & a New Communist International” 1969–1976), each of which reflected certain changes in the party line and the composition, the name “ Ray O. Light ”until the current name was finally adopted in 2008.

International

The ROL is a member of the International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations (ICMLPO).

Together with 40 other parties and organizations, the ROL is a founding member of the International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations (ICOR).
