Revue d'histoire ecclésiastique

Revue d'histoire ecclésiastique (RHE) is a peer-reviewed journal in the field of church history .

The magazine is one of the most renowned in its field. It has been published at the University of Leuven since 1900 ; The founder was Alfred Cauchie . The interruption caused by the First World War ended with the delivery in 1921. Today it appears as a quarterly and has been published by Mathijs Lamberigts since 2013.

The essays are mainly written in French, but their content deals with the international discourse on church history. The literature reports and reviews of the journal are unique and allow the journal to be classified as unique; no other periodical can rival the scope and expertise of book reviews.
