Revue des Études Latines

The Revue des Études Latines (often abbreviated REL ) is a scientific journal in the field of Latin studies founded in 1923 and published by the French Société des Études Latines , which was founded at the same time .

The Revue des Études Latines deals with all aspects of Roman antiquity (language, literature, history) and their aftermath in the Middle Ages , in humanism and renaissance and in modern times . Jules Marouzeau is one of its founders .

In addition to the manuscripts submitted, the lectures of the regular meetings of the Société des Études Latines are published after review by an editorial board. In addition to academic articles, each volume also contains reviews of new publications.
