The Revue philosophique de la France et de l'étranger ( Philosophical journal for France and abroad ) is an academic journal founded in 1876 by Théodule Armand Ribot . It was continued by Lucien Lévy-Bruhl , Émile Bréhier , Paul Masson-Oursel and Pierre-Maxime Schuhl. It was originally published monthly, then bi-weekly for thirty years, and finally quarterly. It is currently edited by Yvon Brès and Dominique Merllié and published by the Presses universitaires de France .
