Marta Podgórnik (born June 2, 1979 in Sosnowiec ) is a Polish poet , editor and literary critic .

Life

Podgórnik attended the Andrzej Strug grammar school in Gliwice , which Adam Zagajewski , Julian Kornhauser and Krzysztof Siwczyk had also attended. In 1996, at the age of 17, she won the Jacek Bierezina competition for poetry and published her first volume Próby negocjacji in this context .

She has been associated with the Biuro Literackie publishing house since 2000 , for whom she writes critical literary texts.

She lives in Gliwice.

Podgórnik's early work was already well received. Her poetry is close to the works of Rafał Wojaczek and Marcin Świetlicki .
