Reynold d'Argentine

Reynold d'Argentine (also Reginald d'Argentine ) (* before 1242, † before March 3, 1308) was an English nobleman.

Reynold d'Argentine was a son of Giles d'Argentine and his wife Margery Aiguillon. He owned, among other things, the Melbourn estate in Cambridgeshire . On June 28, 1283, he received a Writ of Summons for the King's council meeting in Shrewsbury . On January 26, 1297 he received another Writ of Summons for a council meeting in Salisbury . Despite these two Writ of Summons, neither he nor his descendants were considered barons .

Argentine married Laura de Vere, daughter of Hugh de Vere, 4th Earl of Oxford and Hawise de Quincy , around 1259 . He had several children with her, including:

  • John d'Argentine (around 1277-1318)
  • Giles d'Argentine († 1314)
