Rhäzüns mineral spring

Rhäzünser is a Swiss mineral water from the mineral springs in Rhäzüns .

The Rhäzüns mineral spring was first mentioned in history at the end of the 18th century. Because of its medicinal properties, the mineral water was recommended early on by doctors, especially for kidney and bladder problems, gout and rheumatism, and loss of appetite. It was not until 100 years later that the source was discovered by Dr. med. He took a lot and founded the Rhätische Heilquellen AG .

The Maron-Capra family from the Hotel Oberalp in Bonaduz bought the company in 1927 and from then on produced "Rhätisana Citro" as well as mineral water. Only six years later, the newly founded Vereinigte Mineralquellen Rhäzüns and Rothenbrunnen AG took over the family business. However, because of the poor business performance, the company was finally liquidated during the war years.

From the bankruptcy, Passugger Heilquellen AG acquired the rights of use and the modest bottling plant directly from the source. The Feldschlösschen in 1998 acquired the majority interest in the Passugger sources and thus also on the mineral spring Rhäzüns. The company invested 14 million francs in new filling systems and the expansion of the range to include Rhäzünser Plus.

A group of local investors took over the business in Passugg von Feldschlösschen in 2005 and transferred it to a purely Graubünden company; Allegra Passugger Mineralquellen AG. The springs in Rhäzüns, where the Rhäzünser and Arkina mineral waters are bottled today, remained in the possession of Feldschlösschen Getränke AG.
