Rhine-Maas: history, language and culture

Rhine-Maas: History, Language and Culture is an annual periodical published by the Institute for Lower Rhine Cultural History and Regional Development at the University of Duisburg-Essen .

The first volume was published in 2010. Articles and contributions from historical studies, German studies, geography, etc. on individual aspects and topics of the Rhine-Maas region are published in the volumes. There are also the sections “From the Museum”, a forum and a review section. The series aims to provide an insight into the diversity of research on the Rhine-Maas region and is aimed at everyone who is interested in the history and culture of this area. The publication has been published by Nicole Schmenk since the third edition (2010) .
