Rhine-Palatinate Cup

The Rhein-Pfalz-Pokal is the annual youth country cup tournament for male youth, age group U15 in indoor hockey . The tournament is played on a weekend in December and represents one of the last steps in the promotion of young talent at the regional association level. The importance of the tournament is probably one of the most important youth tournaments in Germany due to the fact that it is one of the decisive sightings for the U16 national team Hockey. Almost all players in the current German world championship team also took part in this tournament. The Rhein-Pfalz-Cup was conducted for the first time 1,970th In 1979 and 1981, however, it was not played. The cup was donated by the Rhineland-Palatinate / Saar Hockey Association in 1982, and the tournament has had its current name ever since. The record winner is the West German Hockey Association with 12 wins.

The Berlin Cup is played for female U15 teams .
