The Rheinische Mosaikwerkstätte was a company that was founded in 1874 as the "Rheinische Mosaikwerkstätte Peter Beyer & Söhne" and until the beginning of the 1950s produced mosaics, especially for sacred buildings.

The trained bricklayer Peter Beyer (1839–1923), who was married to Anna Katharina Kolping, a niece of Adolph Kolping , founded the company, which was located on Poststrasse in Cologne. After a while, he moved the company headquarters to Goltsteinstrasse in Bayenthal. Peter Beyer's son Ludwig continued to run the company after his father's death. The specialty of the Rheinische Mosaikwerkstatt was the production of monumental mosaic works. Today there is a print shop on the premises at Goltsteinstrasse 30.
