Rhone knee

The Rhoneknie (more rarely Rottenknie , French Coude du Rhône ) is a striking geographical curve in the course of the Rhone near Martigny in the canton of Valais  . The Rhone changes its direction of flow from east-west by around 90 ° to the north, where it flows into Lake Geneva .
