Career
Riccardo Calder, who was born in Birmingham, England, began his football career at the age of 9 in his hometown at Aston Villa . Calder played for Villa in various youth teams until 2014. With the club's U-19 he won the NextGen Series in 2013 . In August 2015 it was awarded to the Scottish first division club FC Dundee for six months . Calder made his professional debut on matchday 7 of the Scottish Premiership 2015/16 against Partick Thistle when he was substituted on for Nicky Low .
