Richard C. Hoagland

Richard Charles Hoagland (born April 25, 1945 ) is an American author. He represents conspiracy theories that NASA concerning: Life on the Moon and Mars and other related topics. In his writings, he claims that advanced civilizations exist or did on the moon, Mars, and some moons of Jupiter and Saturn. NASA and US governments are supposed to keep these facts closed. He published his ideas a. a. in several books.

In 1997 he was awarded the Ig Nobel Prize "for the identification of artificial structures on the moon and Mars , including a human face on Mars and 16-kilometer-high buildings on the moon."
