Rick rush

Rick Rush , maiden name: Richard Allen Rush (born October 16, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama ) is an American artist who became known for his pictures of American sports subjects. Rush particularly depicts emotional moments in American sports .

From 1975 Rush was able to make a living from his artistic work. Many of his works have been reproduced as art prints . Rick Rush's work is distributed by Jireh Publishing, a company run by Don Rush, a brother of the artist. Some originals are in the All England Club at Wimbledon .

Rush gained national attention when he was sued by Tiger Woods in 1998 for using his name and likeness in an image (The Masters of Augusta) without his permission. However, the lawsuit against Rush was unsuccessful.

Rush regularly takes part in art action days at a school in Tuscaloosa to promote appropriate talents in the students.

He is married to Susie (née Perdue) and the couple have 5 children.
