Ricochet (sport)
Ricochet (pronounced "rikosee") is a sport that is played by two people in a closed room (court). The ball can be played directly against the front wall or it can touch the side wall and ceiling first while it still reaches the front wall. The glass back wall must not be played directly. When the ball hits the tin area marked by a red line on the front wall, the electronics send an acoustic and optical signal. The court has a size of 5.5 m × 2.7 m × 8.5 m (W × H × D) and is divided into two service fields by red floor markings. The electronic score display uses a random generator to determine who has to serve the first serve from the right side. The server has only one attempt to serve. Each rally counts as a point. If the rally is won, the player receives the right to serve. A match has three winning sets (best of 5).

The rackets
There are different rackets, which differ in the weight distribution, the material and of course the price.
The balls
There are three game classes, for each there is a separate ball. These differ in their jumping behavior and are marked in different colors:
- red: for children and beginners
- purple: for advanced players or for pleasure players
- gray: for ambitious players and for competitions
The inside of the ball is filled with air and has a dimpled surface, which ensures a modern look and high performance. It is the same size as a squash ball , but about 30% lighter.
